Project Management Institute Registered Education ProviderThe Project Management Certificate Program can be used to prepare for the PMP® exam or to obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs). DePaul's Management Development Center is an approved Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider.
Many students advance to become a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® or a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®. Please see the PMI website for certification details and requirements. Additionally, if you are interested in taking the PMP® certification exam or learning more about the exam preparation process, you can enroll in DePaul’s PMP® Review course.

Can I earn PDUs with this program?
PMP®s can earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward license renewal by taking courses in the Project Management Certificate Program or Advanced Project Management Seminars. Each contact hour is equivalent to one PDU. Licensed professionals in other industries may qualify to earn Continuing Education (CE) credit. Students should contact their respective licensing body to ensure they meet the requirements.
Are books included in the tuition fee?
Books are not included in the tuition fee for the in-class program. Books are included in the tuition fee for the online program. All other class materials are covered in the tuition fee and will be distributed as appropriate. The required texts for the Project Management Certificate Program are:

Does this program qualify for financial assistance through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA)?
In order to find out if you qualify for financial assistance, you must first contact Workforce Development. As a certified program under the ILLINOIS workNet initiative, this program has been approved for workforce training grants for those who are eligible. Funding may be available for those receiving unemployment benefits. Please contact us or Workforce Development for more information.
